As we look forward to the coming year, here’s an update and some ideas we hope to try. Looking forward to discussing all with you!
Launching New LS Vancouver User Group web site
We are pleased to be launching a new web site for the Vancouver Liberating Structures User Group (VLSUG). We hope this will become a go-to resource for you to find out about the latest meet ups and happenings of our group and linking to the larger Liberating Structure community. Subscribe to get notifications of the latest news. We’ll also remain connected to the LinkedIn Group and reference our site from there.
Meeting Onsite and Online
We won’t be meeting this month due to the holiday busyness. We plan to meet in January face-to-face and then propose alternating onsite and online meet ups. Barish and I, as co-facilitators of this group, have been playing with the idea of setting a schedule of meet ups with onsite sessions co-ordinated by local campus hosts as leads. We are also looking at the possibility to connect with the Victoria Liberating Structures User Group in the Spring, perhaps at the 2018 Festival of Learning.
Sharing stories of our success with LS
In the new year, we’d like to have local practitioners share their stories, lessons and learnings in using Liberating Structures. Please get in touch with Barish or Leva if you have a story to share, or if you have other suggestions for content and would like to help us with the web site.
Spreading LS ‘appiness to all
The Liberating Structures app is a featured app in the offering of Etug’s 12appsofchristmas.ca. Check out the lesson and the app if you haven’t done so already. If you do the challenge activity and share it with the tags #12appsBC #liberatingstructures.
Happy Holidays to all and a very Happy New Year!
